How a Blade Gets Made

Material In

Manganese steel strip verified on arrival; grade and thickness checked against the mill certificate.

Blanking

Profile cut to drawing, centre hole and mounting features formed.

Heat Treat

Salt-bath quench and low-temperature temper to reach target hardness.

Grind & Balance

Edge ground where required, blade balanced for smooth running.

Finish

Black oxide, phosphate or coating applied for corrosion resistance.
